List of additional information for a bug report

To speed up location and fixing of a bug the following information might be crucial:

  • Description of how an issue can be reproduced.
  • Short description of what you expect to happen instead.
  • Operating system you're running (the most important is whether it's GNU/Linux, *BSD, Windows or Mac).
  • Version of vifm (output of vifm --version is preferable). Please note if it's development version (build from source code repository).
  • Sometimes vifmrc, vifminfo and/or color scheme (for UI glitches) files might be useful as well.
